Richard N Schlosser

Mr. Schlosser founded TiePoint Engineering in 1994 to focus on the engineering aspects that impact data center availability. With more than twenty-five years of experience in the application, design and testing of electrical power generation and distribution equipment, Mr. Schlosser continues to design and commission power and distribution systems for computer and computer-related facilities. Under Mr. Schlosser’s leadership, TiePoint Engineering concentrates highly qualified resources on projects for customers who share TiePoint’s understanding and passion that availability is achieved through design.

Robert D Reid

Mr. Reid joined TiePoint Engineering in 1999 with more than twenty years of experience in the electrical industry. As a principal, Mr. Reid focuses on design and testing of systems that directly impact data center availability. Mr. Reid has successfully managed architectural and engineering design teams that have created more than 250,000 square feet of raised floor IT equipment space for numerous Fortune 500 Corporate Data Center installations. Additionally, Mr. Reid has conducted critical infrastructure reviews of more than twenty data centers for users that desired an assessment of Tier Standards, root-cause failure analysis, or capacity expansion opportunities.
